One of my better pictures - a leopard that walked past our vehicle taken by the small flash on my camera - the result was much better than expected

I do not consider myself to be a good photographer ... I think that I leave too much to chance and just don't have the eye to see a composition inherent in a scene.

That is not to say that I don't enjoy trying. My particular interests are somewhat diffuse but can be loosely grouped under "nature" in all its forms. Thus I take

• landscapes
• birds
• flowers and plants
• animals
